Where does clutch fluid go when it isn't on the ground or visable on the "pipe" or slave unit of the trans. Fluid supply "cup" just empty.
Any thoughts?
Maybe it is hiding up by the clutch master cylinder. I have also found dust boots filled with leaked fluid. Had one go in a Toyota once and the fluid was hiding in a recess in the bell housing. There is not much fluid in the system, so it can hide pretty easily. Even if it all dumped out so that it could fall on the ground, you might not notice it on the ground if it failed before the car became stationary.
