I've read a post stating that the fastest street nsx is in the scc magazine. Can anyone post any numbers for it? hp? 0-60? 1/4 mile? Any links to webpages that has this so called fastest street nsx?

Fatal-NSX,

I notice once again that different people have a different view on what they would consider fast. Since I'm from Europe reading the subject-line of this post led me to believe you were asking for all-out top-speed rather than 1/4-mile times which we seem to find much less interesting.

I´m From europe too, but I,m interested also in Fatal´s numbers, we all know the top end of a stock car.
I dream of a 2,5 0 to 60 and less tan 12 sec in 1/4.

If you are doing 0-60 in 2.5 seconds, then you are going to have at least a mid to high 10 second 1/4 mile car. My DSM (according to a 0-60mph calculator, which uses 1/8MPH and 1/8 ET) does it in 2.7 seconds, and I run the 1/4 in 11.4@121-124mph (with a boost leak).

DSM = Diamond Star Motors, the joint venture by Chrysler and Mitsubishi that owns and runs the factory in Bloomington, Illinois, that produces cars such as the Mitsubishi Eclipse.

Your car does 0-60 in 2.7 secs?

Well, I can't varify it, but the calculator does say "2.78". It hits 100mph in 7.5 seconds (I have the slips to prove this one).

The Mclaren F1 does 0-60 in 3.1 and 100 in 6.3... if that helps at all...

2.78 sounds way optimistic to me.

I ran a 10.99 at 125MPH on just the 150 shot of NOS on BF Goodrich drag radials. Not sure what the 0 to 60 time is.

Rob

Actually the Mclaren F1 from what I have read does 0-60mph in 3.2 seconds, covers the 1/4 mile in 11.6 seconds, and 0-100mph in 7.7 seconds. Meh, no biggie, I am AWD with four drag radials, so I could see a sub 3 second 0-60 time.

Yeah AWD is the difference there. The 0-60 time would be better on the Eclipse. But the Mclaren would probably pull over 100 mph. A 2.7 0-60 is not optomistic on a DSM. What was your 60 foot time? Mo - Elite.
