I'm interested in the wing flap though probably need new R wing, as mine was one of the first and wasnt a direct replica.

I spoke to TK, they said the gurney flap was moulded on a genuine factory Type R wing, and not on any sort of replica. So as long as your R wing is an accurate replica, it should fit fine. If your wing isn't an exact replica, it may need some tweaking or adjusting. I am comfortable with my downforce wing because I believe it is an exact replica moulded off the factory R wing.

Other than the Downforce, what others are accurate replicas? Any clue?
 
Ok so I have a downforce R spoiler that came on my car when I bought it.

How do I tell if it's the replica or the "flush fit" version. I guess I didn't know there was more than one style made by df.
 
I'm sure the flap can be trimmed or sanded before paint to make it fit what ever R wing we have. Any body shop can take care of this.

Procar is an accurate replica AFAIK. Maybe the Seibon? I don't know who else makes R spoilers off the top of my head.

The flush fit has to do with the ends of it that extend up the trunk. The main spoiler is an exact replica. So you are good.

Yes, I am sure this will be the case. But if the spoiler is an exact R replica it should need little to no work.
