Okay, so nobody liked my CD player dress-up tip. Here is a simple, cheap, do-it-yourself mod that even looks like it came from the factory. Haven't seen it done before. TL "A C U R A" badge costs about $20.00-$30.00. Look closely and you can see my TL "TypeS" badge on my fuse box cover. Sorry about the glare.

Makes it easy to see which way the fuse box cover goes back on.

The parts guy gave me a break, we have been doing business for eight years. He massaged the prices, I paid somewhere between $12.00 and $22.00 for the TypeS emblem.

I also was at the Mercedes dealer buying a badge. The Acura is at least twice the quality. The plastic, chroming, adhessive, method of application, packaging, etc. was better on the Acura stuff.

I have a '02 NSX front badge, but somehow I get the feeling that the holes are in different spots behind my '98's badge.

-Glad someone liked the tip:)

On my way to the Mercedes dealer, a new S500 tried stuff me in a turn and almost came in my door. We mixed it up for a while, and the thing is dog slow. When I pulled into the MB dealer behind him, he thought I was going to kick his butt. But I just came for the badge. Now, officially the 420 NSX...

Somebody can help me locate the front and rear '02 Acura "A" badge?
Or from another Acura model that has the '02 size... I'd like to swap my front and back emblems:

Part number: 75700-SLO-A51

Cost is about $22.00 vs. $73.00 for the '91-'01 badge;-)

I like the center section painted, looks nice.

Thanks Major! Oh, so the new badge is a lot less expensive than the old one! Good!

I'll try to order it from an US Acura Dealer (Niello seems a good idea? I wonder if they ship oversea).

I also find the central tail light part to be quite nice color matched!

The rear badge comes attached to the center lense, and the whole unit runs about $200. You will have to order two front pieces. The holes on the back of the old bage and the '02 badge may not match, and the '02 badge is hollow and may not cover the holes in your bumper, requiring filling and painting:-( I am not sure.

If you have a problem getting the pieces shipped, I will handle it for you.

Thanks a lot again Major! I will try to call Niello in one hour and I'll see if they are available and if they can be shipped here (the original holes are no more there, they "disappeared" when I had the nose repainted to remove those terrible stone chips

BYS Manifold Cover: Pre-Install

Manifold cover just arrived. Just wanted to post a pic so you can see how well it matches the GroupeM engine cover.

Post-Install Pics

Quality of the finish is high, fit could be better. I could only get two of the four screw holes to line-up. No biggie, it is on straight and secure.
