Well...I suppose it's time I finally say hello as an owner. The NSX has always been my holy grail. Try as I might, I'd never been able to afford my dream car, or the timing wasn't right. I'd try to pacify my desire telling myself it wasn't worth it... I've cycled through car after car...but it never satisfied the palate for the NSX. Everything started with my 99 Civic SI, then came the 2006 s2000, 2008 s2000 CR, 2006 Civic SI, 2012 Civic Si and 2013 TSX. Some were commuters, others were passionate connections like the CR. And now, my pride and joy, my 2002 Long Beach Blue Pearl Acura NSX bought with 19,939 miles! So happy to finally have my dream and truly enjoy it.

I was lucky enough to meet Shigeru Uehara in 2010, it was a true highlight. Amazing passion was devoted to creating our car.

Hoping to meet you all soon!

Ira

Formal congrats, Ira. Welcome to the club. Was waiting to say this for a long time :)

Thanks guys. Felt good bringing another nsx to the NW, there are so few here. Jason, and anyone else, I'm going to try and make cascade cars and coffee tomorrow morning if it's dry. Would love to meet you all.

Fantastic color, love it! Worth the wait I'll bet!

Official welcome Ira! Beautiful color, can't wait to see it in person. I like the wheels, which ones are those? If you ever consider selling them, please let me know.

Hey Jason, did you get your car tuned yet? If you are out for a drive you should stop by and check out my project.

They are GC ProDrives. I actually am if I can find oem wheels!

Thanks Steven, I couldn't have done it without you, thank you for all your help!

Haha thanks Matt :) Today was fun seeing some new faces!

I was able to get some detailing in today, absolutely love how the car shines now.

Just kidding but I have "upgraded" a few things with my NSX this Spring/Summer. I did end up getting new tires and with the Yokohama Advan Neova AD08R in a 215 and 265. The grip on these are absolutely amazing. Spendy, but so far I have no complaints at all.

The front bumper is clear bra'd too! I went with the xpel ultimate clear bra with a reputable installer and it turned out amazing! It's virtually invisible.

My other big purchase was suspension. I debated quite a while on what I wanted to do. I had the mindset of keeping the car as OEM as possible but I did miss the feel of my s2000 CR, where the suspension was truly a dream. After talking to quite a few people and some independent research, I went with the 2002+ OEM Type S Suspension from the Japanese Type S. After the install and driving home; I'm extremely happy with these. Looking forward to getting some more seat time and posting a proper review.

Ira, spending the big bucks already! :)

I recommend the CT sway bars (2) and NSX-R chassis bars(2) also.

Abhi; I need to drive your car sometime!
