Update..............
Following purchase I found a local reputable mechanic to go over vehicle..Recall I didn't get a PPI.
My interior lighting problem is a driver's door latch switch.....expensive.not going to fix right now..( can this switch be rebuilt?)
Replaced thermostat.
a/c belt was replaced.
new plugs.
coolant,oil,transmision oil changed.
fuel filter
air filter
Tb/wp has been done approx 3k miles but 4 yrs ago.
Hoses look great.
I didn't adjust valves.
I charged a/c myself......blows very cold.
Car sat for a long time in climate controlled garage..if anyone has any other stuff I should be looking for, let me know.
Very pleased w/purchase......runs like a top.
I do have some advice for prospective owners:
Hidden gems are out there...don't assume ALL ebay and craigs list cars are scams. and, above all, it's a buyer's market.
