NEW VIPER SR-10-Opinions??

So what do u guys think, ie looks, performance...true convertable ect ect...got to admit it looks pretty nice in black..

I like the prev-gen better. The new styling reminds me of a big Honda S2000.

I have a feeling that the camera does the new Viper no justice. New lower center of gravity, wider stance, ABS, but I didn't hear anything about traction control...with such power...still a scary beast IMO.

the performance on the new viper is awesome.. but as for looks..i prefer the GTS style the best.. the new ones semm bland and yes they do look like a s2000 on steroids IMO.

I don't like the Vipers of the past, on all counts.
The new one does interest me. I like the looks better and the changes that are supposed to have been made.
Photos often don't do a car justice.
I am looking for the chance to see one up close and drive. ya never know...
The GT40 is another one that looks really promisng.

I agree with Phoe<FONT COLOR=red>N$X</FONT> ... it looks like an S2000. I like it because of the S2000 resemblance.

Well, I haven't driven any Vipers so I can't speak to their performance. However, I've seen both the old & new Vipers (coupe & vert versions) close up, and neither (especially the new design) really excites me the way NSXs do.

i always thought companies called products SR-10 and M4A1 because nobody else would have used it as a name before... but somehow i DON'T think dodge makes this...

I know a guy with a '97 Viper and an S2000.
He calls the S LILVPR on his tags, he should trade for a new Viper and get BIGS2K
tags for it. IMHO the new car's look is cleaner but less distinctive.
