NSXPO 2018 registration will be opening shortly. NSXCA members will receive an email with a private link for registration one day prior to registration being opened publicly on the NSXCA website. The email will include hotel booking information and rates as well as a preliminary NSXPO schedule of events.
You must be a member of NSXCA and have an online account set up in order to register for NSXPO. Each NSXCA member can register for themself and one guest only. Due to venue capacity limitations, NSXPO 2018 attendance is capped. We suggest registering as soon as possible as we expect a sell-out attendance of this event. There will be a waitlist set up once capacity has been reached and we will communicate more details on how we release slots to those on the waitlist. To join NSXCA, please go to https://nsxca.org/membership-center/
The HPDE (High Performance Driving Event) will take place at Thunderhill Raceway on Wed-Thu Sept 26-27 with a registration cost of $400. The social portion will be held in San Francisco Fri-Sun Sept 28-30 with a registration cost of $400. Thunderhill Raceway is in Willows, CA about 160 miles or 250 kilometers north of San Francisco.
We are honored to have a contingent from the NSX Club of Japan attending this year including revered Japanese racer Motoharu Kurosawa (“Gan-san”). Come and leave your heart in San Francisco this fall!

Excellent! A huge thanks to the organisers, we look forward to seeing you all again.......and Martin......

Those wishing to sign up for NSXCA membership can register starting May 31 at 10am Pacific / 1pm Eastern. Please note that you must be an NSXCA member in good standing in order to register on May 30, so please visit the club website at nsxca.org to make sure your membership won’t lapse between now and when registration opens.

Not sure if you want to attend this year? Here’s a description of our itinerary to help you decide.

NSXPO kicks off with a two-day High Performance Driving Event (HPDE) at Thunderhill Raceway, dubbed “Thunder by the Bay”. Like in 2017, we are sharing the HPDE with the Type-R club. In addition to being able to push the limits of their cars in a safe and controlled environment, paid participants will also be offered light breakfast snacks as well as lunches and, after the second day of HPDE closes, the ability to attend a casual, co-hosted banquet dinner with the Type-R club. After dinner, we shoot on over to the social host hotel in Burlingame.

The first day of the social portion of the event is packed with activities, starting with a drive across the Golden Gate Bridge, with a photo op at picturesque Horseshoe Bay. After a brisk drive through the Marin Headlands we cross the bridge in the other direction and head to the Golden Gate Club at the Presidio for lunch. There’s a lot to do there at the Presidio, including photo ops with genuine Star Wars figures by Lucasfilm such as Darth Vader and R2D2 at the Letterman Digital Arts Center.

Then it’s back to the hotel where we’ll freshen up for a short bus ride to the piers on the Embarcadero where we’ll board a yacht for a sunset dinner cruise, complete with a guest speaker. While on the cruise, there will be a lot of opportunities to take selfies with the San Francisco skyline, the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz and Fisherman’s Wharf in the background. Buses back to the hotel will close the first day’s activities.

On day two of the social portion, skip the complimentary breakfast at the hotel and save your appetite for brunch among the majestic redwoods of Woodside. After enjoying a little food and a little mingling we head towards the coast for the “California Dreaming” drive up iconic Highway 1 to the Canepa Car Museum. Take the opportunity to view their impressive and unique facility while your car gets judged for the concourse in the parking lot. Then we take roads that are a little more winding back to the host hotel where you can freshen up before the official banquet dinner, where we’ll have other speakers, awards and closing words from your hosts.

Delay your departure on Sunday by just a few hours and stay for an opportunity to drive your NSX down the world famous Lombard street, “the crookedest street in the world”, after which we’ll have one last informal lunch before officially closing NSXPO 2018.

Hi

Thanks. Yes it will be fun to meet up with all of you. It feels like we bought the plane tickets a year ago. As I am in a totally different timezone I have to get up in the middel of the night to sign up when I get the mail.

Regards

Ahh - i see what it is. This hotel charges you an extra $17 if you have a guest in your room. So $169 + $17 = $186.
