NSXPO photo of Ron's Grigio Alloy wide body conversion

I have very few photos because I had to leave NSXPO early. Chris is taking some additional pictures in Phoenix and will post them in the very near future.

Thanks for your interest in my baby!

The new rocker panels are a part of the wide body conversion. However, we will soon have them available for stock body cars. Unlike any other side skirt made, these use the factory mounting holes with hardware that is completely hidden, so there is no need to drill into the body, and definitely absolutely no double stick tape used. They also tuck into the body on the bottom and do not cover the factory jack points.

Cheers,
-- Chris

one bad ass ride

Doc,

I hope you get to drive it as often as you like.

;)

The car looks awesome. I saw it come off the transport on wed. night. Well worth the wait.;)

Please make sure to post more pics of your car. I would love to see pics of yor car in motion.

It was nice meeting you. I hope your friend gets better.

Kenny

Kenny,

Thanks for your kind words about my friend. As you know, I left NSXPO early because of a medical emergency. Luckily, he is recovering nicely from surgery.

I love my new car but was only able to drive it one day before leaving. Chris @ SOS is doing the finishing touches and then will transport my car back to Cincinnnati. I can hardly wait!!!

I will post more pictures after it arrives.

Re: side skirt flare

A lot of the earlier aftermarket side skirts (Marga Hills and replicas) were designed for use with (aftermarket) wide front fenders, hence that "flare in the front". It does look out of place if using stock front fenders.

The Wings West side skirts, while more conservative than these, has IMO a cleaner, almost-factory line to it.

IMO- I like the original MH side skirts, Im wondering though.. are they still availabe with the front flare?

Hi Ron,

Car looks amazing. Great to see you again at NSXPO. Best of luck with your new toy!

Don

The car is still in Phoenix so I have not had the opportunity to photograph the interior. We will ship the car back to Cincinnati in mid-February and then I should have all new photographs. They will be posted on this thread and also at:

Has anyone else noticed that his last name and the color of his car are the same?? How cool is that to have your name match a Ferrari paint color. :D

Yes, Grigio Alloy is the color on the Ferrari 360 Modena. It might even be on the F355, but I know it is on the 360 at least.

to say it was "stock" is an understatement!

HA HA HA HA!

When it looked like this I saw it in my rearview mirror while jaunting through the hills of northwestern NY.

(Ron, you followed my Red Integra while I led the drive around Lake Chataqua)

Hate to see her back there now... Probably eat me alive!

Looks great man!

Hey Phil...

I have great memories of that trip!

My car will return to Cincinnati in early March and I plan to bring it to one or more Buckeye NSX events.

Best wishes, Ron

but, isn't his name ron warnick?
where's the connection? i'm a little slow i guess.

ACK!! I am soooo sorry!! When I read the thread title I thought it said 'Ron Grigio's' and totally messed up....sorry!! I am an idiot. :D

We are making some subtle changes to the front end and therefore the car is still in Phoenix. It will be shown at the Atlantic City SEMA AIS in late May and we will then have some pictures.

I have spent approximately $55K not including transport or my frequent trips to Phoenix!
