Hmm.. From the traffic horror stories, I was planning leaving with my sleeping wife at 4:30 am. Are you guys sure that 6:15ish will be fine ? It is said that it sometimes takes an hour to get to Laguna Seca from *Santa Cruz* on race days ?

I don't know if leaving at 4:30am will get you in any sooner, according to the schedule.

9:00 am - 6:00 pm Acura Owners’ car corral parking and registration


I may be wrong but if we get there by 8ish we should be able to get into the corral close to 9am.

I was not thinking about that as much as giving myself extra time to *actually reach* the track. Never been to Laguna Seca before so no idea what a conservative time to leave is. I would hate to get up at 4 am unless I really have to.

I'm sure we'll run into a backup as we get close to the track. Maybe someone can call the track and ask what plan they have to control the traffic.

Just got off the phone with Laguna Seca, they tell me their gates will open at 7AM and the Corrals will be open at the same time.

The Race cars will be on the track at 8 AM

They didn't make it sound that traffic would be much of an issue arriving via Hwy 68.

Maybe someone that been there before on race day can share their past experience.
