I like to find out what is the largest oil filter that will fit on the NSX.

I was wondering if matching the thread pitch/size and o-ring gasket size may allow us to use an oil filter designed for another car.

Walmart started selling these really high end oil filters from Bosch.

Meh. I've had either G2 Legends or NSXs since 1998 and if I couldn't find the the "tall" NSX filter (15400-PL2-004) made by Toyo Roki of which I now have about 8, I have had no reluctance whatsoever to use the Denso 150-0103:

Appearance & construction-wise, it is identical to the 004 filter, readily available and cheap at $6.86 each. Since I change the oil on my Legend, my wife's i30t & my son's Prelude every 3K miles, they get the Densos but the NSX gets the Toyo Roki 004's. Only the best for my baby---

Here in NY we have Stewart's, a region based small grocer that sells gas and also offers free air!

I hear their ice cream is pretty good, too.

Look at Advanced auto parts for the union sangyo C570. I have used these they are the replacment for the oem 15400-PL2-004. Seem to be made well also look just like the nippon brand.
