I just took my cover off and painted the strut tower brace and a couple more things red. Anyone have any other interesting things to paint that make the engine bay look better??

Thx
Jeff

Wow...what a great engine Vytas.

Anyway, here's a picture of mine that I did with a can of spray paint and sharpie pen last year.

. ill post more recent pics of mine tomorrow. i had the one with all the blue parts in the link to the other thread that was posted above, but i've since painted several more parts blue.

Thanks for your comments. The majority of the parts are polished. The only chromed parts are the strut bar, alternator belt cover and the two pieces forward of the alternator. The alternator, custom made fuel injector covers, engine manifold and plate, alternator (and the two piece forward of it) were from Mike Niday's NSX. When he got the Comptech supercharger, these parts were not usable so they somehow migrated to my car.

I had the strut bar chromed, added a RM coolant bottle, a Dali fuse box, and cut out a piece of aluminum (polished) to cover the throttle body. I will get the engine lift hook chromed and pretty much leave it at that.

The best thing you can do to clean up the engine bay is remove the emissions stickers on the firewall. This is tough to do without repainting but well worth the effort.

Actually, the best thing you can do to clean up the engine bay is to clean the dirt off.

It's also the least expensive thing you can do.

this is worth to be reposted... nice job on that engine.. but im not a real big fan of chrome though...

How do you attach or post pics?

you gotta have your pictures loaded to some server like www.imagestation.com or other site.
