Looks like rain and snow this weekend for my trip so I'll leave the NSX at home. I might be tempted to run it in my Tacoma though.

My cousin has 2005 sk2 and is very interested in purchasing a 02+NSX next spring. He's been dying to get out and expierence the car somehow. Since they arent available for test drives anymore at the local dealership. :wink:
Anyway i figured what better way.
I hope you guys dont mind a couple lotus and an s2k to tag along. As long as the weather looks good were 100% in.
Cool! Variety is the spice of life I say. Love to see some Loti involved and we usually round up an S2k or two everytime we meet.

I think the consensus has been to stay in Marysville, TN but me and a couple of the others are staying in Cherokee. I'm sure we can find some where to meet up.
Hello, from Greenville SC.... The closer it is getting to the date, the better it looks for me. I assume you are talking about Cherokee, NC and the casino hotel is the place to stay? How far would it be to the dragon from Cherokee?

Is there a set time (and place) we're looking to meet up? I plan on doing the Cherahola on the way up (and back) so wondering if I need to head up Friday. Is there a drive route we're plannin on?

Me and a few others will be staying at the following Holiday Inn in Cherokee. We'll probably hang out at the Casino Friday night. I think it is less than a mile from our hotel.

Good questions. I don't know, and I will defer to Mike (organizer) or James (local).
But in case we need a conversation point to get things rolling, I have driven over this way quite a few times. I usually start around Townsend and make a great big loop along this route:

I'm staying on the TN side in Knoxville with family. So, I'd vote for an earlyish starting somewhere in Townsend/Maryville where we can all get gas / breakfast. That said, whatever the 'the plan' is let me know and I will be there.
I would think around 9AM would be a good time to meet. I am not the person to ask about where, i haven't been on the Dragon in about 25 years :redface: . I'll let the locals handle the plans :wink:

Where we're meeting will determine where I'm staying, so I'm interested in the answer to this.
I vote we meet somewhere in or around Townsend. Let's say tentatively at 9:30 to give the guys staying in NC some time to get across the park on 441.
From there, we can take foothills parkway down to the dragon (really nice drive) and see where things go from there.

How long would it take everyone on the TN side to get to the dragon? I think we are about 1/2 hr from there.
