During cold startups the car sometimes gets a very loud ticking sound, like a solinoid every 0.5 secends or there abouts. It usually stops after about 10-15 seconds though it has been getting worse. Some times it will only start about a minutes after i actually start the car.
Only this morning i found that it also starts when the airflow via the climate control has the choice of the upper fans/ head fans on as a option.
It is too slow to be a fan issue but this discovery has me stumped. The car is a '91.
The noise appears to be directly under teh centre of the dashboard.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. All experiences with auto electricians i have had end in nightmares...
