Hmm. Taitec Wing. Ritmo Lechers Side Skirts. Cantrell Concepts Influences... GT-7's... You know.... looks like a lot of street warrior parts from Science Of Speed......

Yes, Yes... I'm sure I've seen that before. Isn't that Duke's car?

it flooded the forums with fanboys and 15 year olds who all "plan" to get a twin turbo supra as a first car and make "a conservative 700rwhp" for less than $3000.

I really hope this doesn't happen, it reminds me when I got my 2000 Civic Si right before FnF was released, i couldn't drive around town without getting revved at and everyone and their mother telling me they wanted to race, or how i should "hook-up" my car. uhhhhh :frown:

Yes!!! I'm going to park my car in front of the cinema.

I kinda liked the Tokyo Drift movie.:frown: Maybe everything ak says about me is true.

<-- ricer?

Well, before FNF, you could buy a TT MKIV for $12-15k. After FNF, they were going for $40-60k.

No way they were goin for that cheap before 2001 or I would have definitely picked one up at the time.

I think these movies affect a demographic that has nothing to do with the real economic demand for our cars. It will only affect free things related to NSXs, like nsxprime.

I saw that NSX at the casting call. It was nicely built.

CTSC with Wide body kit. The owner is a very young asian guy.

lol im 7Gs in the hole and she's still demanding more parts.... to add insult to injury, my supra doesnt even run yet:biggrin:

Well I was like SH!T, f#ck! When I just started reading this because I do NOT want to be associated with that bullsh!t sort of people through my car. That was the reason I skipped all the crap and went to the NSX in the first place!

However...... now that I think about what it did for the Supra in terms of "awe" and "value", I think I could live with that. Why? Because the Supra isn't some "kid racer/ricer" car because of it's value and new gained prestige. I'd be happy to sell my car for more and move on. Even though this time around it might be a H1, M3 or 996. Major problem will be, we'll get hassled by the damn cops more now for absolutely nothing. Oh wait, that's already happening to me.... fun

If we get a Hero Car role in the movie........ The car's value WON'T drop. That's a VERY nice thing for current owners. I guess I'll have to wait and see what happens. Problem is, FnF has lost ALOT of steam since the first one.

WTF?
Is that a drop top Tiburon?

Watch, they'll be like a NSX gang, 350Z gang, Supra gang, AWD gang, and all those other cars that fall in between.

I don't mind the representation that the NSX will get in the movie...it is by far the best looking car of the bunch! The mods are tastefully done - and yes...it will raise the price of the NSX...which does not matter to me, because I am not interested in selling her.

Dam:cool:

supra was not that well known before the FF movie..

but come on... its an NSX we are talking about here. I knew the nsx long before i knew about the supra.

hopefully the cost of parts will keep the "ricers" away

clearly it will, but there are always the ones with $$$$ like us I guess, Im not going to stick up for immature high school street races but there are the FEW that are just trying to achieve a level of satasifaction that we drive everyday (or weekends)
