Where are all the Production deliveries ??

The dealers got these play books that guided them not to set any date expectations.

The fact that your build sheet is at the dealership speaks to how close you are to getting your car.

thankfully, shipping has been sorted out

you can call the NSX specialist line and they may be able to give you some details 844 682-2872

i told a colleague moving to MA about the friggin excise tax and he cringed.

I am currently paying that on a 14 RS7, Sequoia Platinum, FJ Cruiser and Rav4. We are about to add a new 4Runner as well.

Excise tax is a bitch, its like an additional car that I don't even own.

(BTW, yes I am a Toyota guy and yes I am already looking into a Supra.)

"Thank you for your email on the 2017 NSX. I am pleased to announce that it arrived at our dealership yesterday afternoon. We are currently prepping it for our showroom and we are going to list the car for $260,075."

I assume they throw in an MDX and Civic for that price. Otherwise, no thanks.

I actually live out in western MA, this dealership was the only one in MA that would even take me seriously when I started the process back in Feb of this year.

I am in Boston a lot though for the car shows (currently drive a modified RS7) and a lot of my car bros live out there so I am in town quite a bit.

Some of us CT guys will sometimes meet up at an informal C&C in Glastonbury CT on Sunday's.
If that isn't to far for you, you should stop down sometime.

Your RS7 would do well there also.

Phooey on the Supra, grab a clean LFA

the LC-F is gonna be nasty too

We will see. If it has a fast hybrid version like they are talking now I might just do it. I am waiting to see what Audi comes out with as well. If they create a 4 door sport hybrid I will be trading in/up.

I will look into that. I am always looking to expand my car gang, only been into the scene for a few years.

You could take your car to Tutto Italiano at Larz Anderson in Brookline on Aug 7 and see how the Ferrari guys in MA like your car

Larz Anderson you say......I just so happen to have a clip of me leaving a show there........and getting pulled over:P

I didn't get into any trouble and the funny part about why this even happened is that the year before it was the cops that TOLD me to launch it on my way out.

The police in Brookline are very protective of their residentsLots of people walk and bike in Brookline and the police want folks to think twice before tearing it up on the well maintained curvy roads

Typically I stick the western MA back roads late at night when I want to pull stuff like this but I was under the impression that we all had the green light to launch on the way out, that was not the case this day. I spoke with them a few months later and the actual reason they cracked down was the noise, lots of complaining locals.

The white one in the delivery video appears to be 011 and is at Hooman Acura

Their Cars.com ad has the MSRP at $199K and I suspect they are playing the market adjustment thing too.

that'd still be you.

no one here was talking about Nissan or Toyota. the discussion was of the NSX delays, of which there have been a few. of months and years, that's simply fact. but i know you would continue to argue that the sky was green no matter how many people told you it was blue, and cars are now being delivered so i'm done with this thread. ciao...

Don't bother arguing with N Spec. He has a case of what the Millenials have. They are never wrong, and there is an excuse or justification for everything.

Bottom line is that for people who had real money down on these new cars for several years (like myself), the wait and changes in everything were too much, and many people moved on (like I did). Anyone who is okay with the delays, and has real money in the game (not just a case of Internet Bad Azz Syndrome), then I hope you enjoy your car. Glad they are finally coming out, and I hope the wait was worth it. Really. End of discussion.

Very well said. Let us all pause and give thanks that, in a world with so much suffering, we are lucky enough to be tormented by such trivial matters (which over-the-top sportscar to add to the stable).

I will only say one thing about this because it is so massively off topic. There is a way to morally deal with being well off. Personally, I balance my luxury with my generosity. This NSX brings me up to around 500K in cars over the last 3 years but I also bought a family an entire house, put someone through medical school, helped 2 other families avoid eviction and other similar causes. If everyone would balance their luxury and their generosity we could change the world.

I like were this thread is going...

Congrats Mitch, you've moved on. So stop whining and enjoy your new toy please.
