Will NA2 rear brakes clear NA1 wheels?

hey guys,

I have a set of CCW's on my NA1 94 coupe. I bought them 2nd hand and they came off an NA2. To fit them to the rear of my car I bought some NA2 brakes / calipers / rotors / brake lines from a member on Prime. I've yet to install them and am currently running 5mm slip on spacers only.

I need to know, will my '94 7 spoke NA1 rims clear the NA2 brakes if I decide to remove my CCW's and go back to OEM (with the NA2 brakes installed)??

TIA.

You seem to be confused. There is no such thing as "NA2 brakes" or "NA1 wheels".

NA2 is an engine code for the 3.2-liter engine which was mated to the six-speed manual on the '97-05 NSX. NA1 is the engine code for the 3.0-liter engine which was on all '91-96 NSX and on the '97-05 automatics.

The NSX was sold with two versions of brakes, one on the '91-96 NSX, and the revised version on the '97-05 NSX.

The NSX was sold with three versions of wheels. The '91-93 NSX had 15"/16" five-spoke wheels. The '94-01 NSX had 16"/17" seven-spoke wheels (with a different finish for '94-96 vs '97-01, but otherwise the same). The '02-05 NSX had 17"/17" wheels.

As scorp noted above, during '97-01, cars with the '97-05 brakes were sold with the '94-01 wheels, so yes they will fit.
