Thanks for the kind words!
I've done quite a bit of work on this and the OEM na2 headers design are actually almost dead on for peak power at 8k for the NSX. The only real improvements to be made are the collection angle on the OEM is harsh and the front bank is a bit short as Honda wanted...
Many also introduce bumpsteer when lowering the suspension dramatically over OEM. The geometry is all set up for the massive fender gap we all see on a factory suspension car.
I would guess many of us are 1" to 1.5" lower than factory which lowers the roll center and introduces a fair amount...
Yes indeed. You can get the each wheels signal from the TCU plug behind the drivers seat.
Also - correction it is the 5th gen prelude TCS button, direct swap of guts for a permanent state switch.
@whrdnsx FYI - the latest Comptech / Driving Ambition design no longer pressed into the arm and locks when torque is applied to the cap. This improvement vastly increases the ease of installation as well as use as you can reposition the offset if need be and you aren't in a jam if it seats...
For anyone revisiting this - the OEM TCS switch is a momentary switch and Haltech does not support state management for a momentary switch.
You can get a 97-01 prelude tcs switch and it fits rite into the NSX plastic housing and uses the same plug and is a permanent switch to effectively toggle...
J Series most likely due to cost/availability. My friend Rich at RV6 makes stronger 3-4 gearing that is working well in 1200hp drag cars so we should be good to do some thumping around with that.
Ideally I'd love a DSG or DCT mated, but will see once the path is further defined.
I'll work with Neutron on getting him an engine scan. I have a spare motor sitting in a stand. I plan to get a motor when it's ready for purchase. I will be offering a bolt in kit.
There are 23 kits in the wild at this point without issue.
We were not able to get them to work on an OEM ECU though, The K coils do however work fine on an aftermarket ECU using OEM NSX coil settings which begs the question why they don't work on an OEM ECU.
I too would love if folks could...
Don't take this the wrong way, but it sounds like there is opportunity to plan further in advance in order to secure desirable locations. In my opinion, planning for 2019 should be starting now like any other large event.
