Hi guys and girls,
I was the happy owner of a UK spec 1991 NA1 Honda NSX until I was driving to work and snapped a con rod!
I don't suppose anyone knows of someone in the UK who specialises in rebuilding VTEC engines?
Cheers
Thomas
The temperature gauge didn't go up noticeably, and no there wasn't any funny smell just a sudden horrible noise when it went.

RAC came out the coolant was pretty empty. Got it recovered to garage. They think coolant may have leaked internally...
Hi guys,
I've got a 1991 UK spec (right hand drive) NSX in which the OEM Bose sound system has completely packed up. All I get is a continuos high pitched squeal...
I have decided to do away with the OEM stereo and replace it with a new single DIN head unit, new speakers and a new amp...
I have a 1991 NSX which has OEM 15/16 rims and I have recently brought some new Gotti split rims 17inch rear and 16inch front.
The wheels came with tires which need replacing and aren't on the rims.
The rear tires when placed next to my OEM ones appear the same effective size which is fine...
My car is a 1991 model, I understood it to be an OEM keyfob when I bought the car.
The button isn't depressed in the photo but the cover isn't screwed down so just looks that way.
I can unlock the door as I still have the key, but without being able to disable the imobiliser as the key fob doesn't work. I can't start the engine.
Does anyone know how to program a new key fob to the car or disable the imobiliser so I can drive it to Honda to get a new key fob coded...
Hi guys,
The battery in my key fob was running low, so eventually I replaced the battery :-) which worked fine for a few days. However, now only the lock button works. The good news is that my NSX is nicely tucked up safe and sound at my house but unfortunately I cant drive it anywhere...
Hi guys, I've got a 91 NSX and my original wheels are now due for replacement.
I wanted to keep the car looking fairly standard and don't want to muck up the handling. What would people suggest?
I fixed mine myself with a little help from my Mechanic friend.
He borrowed a special tool from my local Honda dealer which is used to bleed the ABS brake system.
Used the tool 4 times with new fluid and it is all fine now. Occasionally the clicking comes back but only for about 5 secs and...
Hi guys, just looking into this a bit further and I have a RHD UK spec NSX so do you know where I can get a RHD stereo aftermarket fascia, and does Zetoolmans Sub box fit in the LH foot well?
Cheers guys
