    Go Kart racing

I may be in for tomorrow (sunday) morning. Have an event at 3pm, though. Busy with V-day stuff today.

    KW V3 installation

+1 for trackspec. Although they didn't do my KW V3 install (that was years ago), they did lots of other work on the car and completed a new corner balance to adjust for weight modifications. Very good and honest guys there who have excellent attention to detail.

Older ABS / Solenoid Flush in the Bay Area

Hey Dennis, I was able to line up a guy in / near Sacramento that has experience doing this service. Track Spec Autosports in Fremont is also willing to do this service, although they may not have the specialty tools yet, Jon there is very meticulous and I would trust him to do it right.

    Who's rocking kw v3 here?

So... is this happening? I'm down for a mini-meet tomorrow.

    Who's rocking kw v3 here?

I've got my car back now. Not as extreme as 1K2GO's car, but getting close! Could be cool to get the three of us together, actually.

    BC Forged RS-43's

Car's finally off the lift following lots of upgrades and work. Here it is with the RS-43's and Stoptech Trophy brakes:

    Non-Compliance Alignment

I'm not a suspension expert either, which is why I'm reaching out to the community, but my understanding is that some of the stock alignment setup is intended to push/pull the "slop" out of the suspension. My question is based solely on the change in that mechanical "slop".

    Non-Compliance Alignment

Looking for advice regarding alignment following non-compliance gear install for a street/track setup. I searched for an answer but was unable to find a discussion dedicated to this topic. I know some of the stock alignment specs are to remove compliance from the system, but with a physical...

    BC Forged RS-43's

Well, they're doing a header install, all non-compliance gear, BBK install, tire mounting, alignment, corner balance and a few other items on my car right now. I've been dealing with Jon primarily but also met Larry during the open house. They're both passionate co-owners. I'm very meticulous...

    Stoptech Caliper Paint question

Doubtful you'll be able to remove one layer of paint without stripping both. Chances are you'll want to have them re-painted anyways with new logos. Stop tech can help with paint codes and decal sourcing. Lots of guys here have done it.

    BC Forged RS-43's

Both the hats and calipers are clear anodized, so I think the gold look might be due to the flash. Looks less gold in person.

    BC Forged RS-43's

@ DAYTA: Full kit; front & rear (w/e-brake). I'll be happy to measure clearance when I get home and see the car myself. @ solidol: Would be happy to show it to you when I get back, or you can check it out at Track Spec Autosports in Fremont before then.

    BC Forged RS-43's

No spacers. That was my reason for buying these wheels. As much as I like my 02+ wheels, I didn't want to run spacers at the track. I know that may seem silly to some. Definitely one of the advantages to custom made wheels.

    BC Forged RS-43's

Here you go: Fronts: 17x8 +45 (light concave) Rears: 18x9.5 +40 (medium concave) I bought these as part of GT Theory's special sale on custom BC Forged monoblock wheels. Very happy with the quality of the wheels.

    BC Forged RS-43's

I promised to post pictures of these wheels when they came in, so here you go. Unfortunately they had to wait until brakes and tires came in, but here's a sneak preview of the RS-43's in gunmetal with the new Stoptech Trophy Sport brakes. Big thanks to Brandon (GT Theory) for the help getting...
