Had mine out Saturday for several miles so I too could remove the flat spots and move the fluids around. The first few miles were a little bumpy. Came home smiling, as always!

JMChristopher, I believe you will find a platenut at the location you've identified in the above first photo once you lift your carpet. The platenut will be made of a nut element either crimped or spring clipped into a retainer plate. I suspect someone has either over torqued or used too much...

At first glance it looks incorrect, but to know for sure you need to look at the internal cooling fins of the rotor. If the fins are straight then the rotor installation direction shouldn't matter. If the cooling fins are "slanted" from the center out the edge then the "slant" of the fins should...
