1991 Acura NSX Coupe #2198 Berlina Black on Black, 5 speed, 75k miles
VIN JH4NA1153MT002198 No accidents, not a snap ring car.
MAINTENANCE
- Timing belt and water pump service performed at 60k miles.
- Spark plugs, fuel filter, and valve adjustment performed by Acura of Brookfield (John Vasos) at 63k miles.
- Vehicle disassembled and refinished in Spies Hecker Urethane at 71k, cost was almost $8,000 including some trim items I had replaced. This is the paint that comes on a new SL600 and is top of the line. The vehicle was scratched by an older gentleman, I took this opportunity to make the car perfect. Weatherstrip from hood to bumper, windshield upper seal, hatch seal, and front inner wheelwells all replaced at 71k when the vehicle was refinished, they were a bit worn and I wanted it perfect.
- Aspirator fan replaced, brake system and ABS system both flushed with Honda fluid, GM Synchromesh transaxle fluid, M1 oil change, Dali magnetic engine and trans drain plugs, new A/C compressor belt, new hatch struts, RM air filter cleaned/oiled, throttle body cleaned, clutch master cylinder, both oxygen sensors, oil pan gasket, spool valve filters, and EGR valve replaced, four wheel alignment and high speed balance performed at 74k. New style window regulators on both sides, guides and mechanisms on both sides recently lubed with Honda urea grease. New clips for interior panels, trunk panels, sills, etc, just to make everything fit perfect and tight. Oil changes every 2-3k miles with Mobil1 synthetic. Records, receipts, documentation.
Several Prime members can attest to the condition of the car. I've put alot of effort and money into making sure it runs and looks perfect, as i'm very particular. As part of my own 'service program' many parts were changed solely for piece of mind, the car has never let me down. The multimedia install is discrete and sounds fantastic. It has DVD/Video CD/CD Chgr, digital signal processing, parametric EQ, Dolby Pro Logic, Dolby Digital, and rearview camera. The door enclosures took two days alone to fabricate. JL's top of the line 75-ohm video interconnects were used throughout. All upgrades were done tastefully and properly. Of course I had intended to keep her forever, but my wife has somehow convinced me that I need a car she can drive also, which means an automatic (I know....). Runs amazing, the only item needed is an a/c charge (the compressor was unnecessarily evacuated for the header installation).
