This car was given to me as a gift from my father in 2011. He has since passed away and I do not know a lot about the previous history of the vehicle, however I know when he bought it from the 4th owner, he made sure all the necessary maintenance was done, including the 100k mile service/timing belt change, etc. I am aware that the car has had nitrous installed, however that has been removed prior to my ownership.
I have lowered the vehicle on springs and the ride is very rough by my standards and I feel like I'm getting rattled when I drive down a rough street, (but I do prefer a softer ride). Since the car has been lowered, there is a vibrating sound that occurs on rough pavement, likely due to its stiffer suspension. I have not had it checked out since then.
I just recently purchased a new set of Advan AVS wheels/tires, which are bright silver, however I dipped them in a bronze finish. The Heating/AC unit turns on and off frequently and it seems like that is a common problem that can be fixed by another member on this forum. Passenger seatback doesn't move up and down, but fortunately it is in a comfortable, upright position. Also, the folding spare tire has been replaced with a regular tire and it fits comfortably in the trunk of the car.
I wrote a previous post about how much this car means to me because my father and both had NSX's, but I'm moving to downtown Los Angeles and I can't take both of my personal cars with me.
