1997 M3 I-Stock/R6 street legal race car

Highly tuned over many years, but very lightly raced , 51K miles, Bilstein custom valved dampers, H&R race springs,TC Kline roll cage w/removable driver’s side bar, LTW replica wing, ECIS cold air intake, Dinan strut brace, Dual fuel pumps to prevent fuel starvation, BMW euro engine oil cooler, Korman heavy duty transmission mounts, Stainless steel brake lines, Racing Dynamics sway bars, Rollbar camera mount, Schroth (passenger) and G-Force (driver) 5-point camlock harnesses, Cobra Sebring Kevlar racing seat (driver), Cobra racing seat (passenger; not currently installed, but I do have it and would save weight if installed), Both stock front seats, Super Sprint SS DTM exhaust, Fire extinguisher and mount, Window net, Conforti ECU, 13 lb lightweight battery, Delrin front lower control arm bushings, Ground Control rear shock mounts, Reinforced rear trailing arm bolt mounts and sway bar mounts, Custom front splitter (removable), Convex Euro driver’s side mirror glass, AMB transponder (used by both BMWCCA and PBOC), Boston acoustics front speakers (factory), BMW alarm, BMW lower X-brace, Metric mechanics short-shift kit, Lighted factory M3 shift knob, Custom aluminum pedal covers, Glove box carbon fiber insert, New 17x8.5 Kosei K-1’s with SO4 Hoosiers (used only for two Sebring sprint races), Stock LTW forged wheels with Kumho 712’s used for the street, rear brake rotors are new and fronts are fresh, One set street brake pads, Numerous sets of front and rear race pads (PF-97, HT-10, spec/VR), Brand new front windshield (replaced due to age/pitting), New power steering hoses, Custom wired oil pressure audio warning, New NGK spark plugs, Clutch replaced ~5K miles ago, Power steering rack replaced w/front control arms, tie-rods (approx. 10K miles ago - control arms replaced for precautionary reasons), Redline fluids in diff and transmission for life of vehicle, Mobile One in engine for life of vehicle.

This car won its class every weekend over the last two years driving it to and from the track. In addition to class wins, one overall win and several overall podiums. Best laps: Sebring (2:33.5), Homestead (1:44.9), Mid-Ohio (1:44.4 with chicane), Putnam (1:20.3). The car is very streetable and I frequently drive it to work. It is only converted to track form for race weekends. The stock seat comes out and the racing seat, seat-brace, and window net goes in. The side roll-cage bar is removable so it is easier to get in and out when driving on the street. Static cling numbers and stickers are even removable/reusable. The custom Bilsteins are valved for good track performance, but also street tolerable. The LTW replica wing comes with it, but is not legal this year in I-Stock BMWCCA (they are discussing allowing it again next year). For PBOC, it currently runs in R6 class, but could lose some weight and still be legal in R6, the LTW wing is legal in R6. The entire interior is inplace and looks like a show car (at least compared to racecars), all the stock features are operable including the AC (it is great staying cool in the paddock while everybody else is burning up). This is the perfect car for club racing. You can do very well without the additional expense of a tow vehicle and trailer.
