2000 Acura NSX-T with 02 Conversion (front and rear)
VIN #: JH4NA2168YT000094
Current Mileage: 25,650
Color: Red/Tan
Transmission: 6 speed manual
Location of Vehicle: St. Louis, MO
Contact: PM via prime, email at [email protected], call at (314)358-5776
Price: SOLD
Number of Owners: I am the 2nd. Car was purchased from Buerkle Acura in Minneapolis with approximately 12,000 miles in 2007. Car was stock when I purchased it.

Clean title (in hand)
Clean Carfax
No history of accidents

Paintwork: Rear valence, side skirts, 02 front end – all done for 02 conversion

Maintenance history: I have all maintenance records during my ownership. All scheduled maintenance has been performed. Passed safety and emissions tests in January, 2012.

Timing belt and water pump changed by Science of Speed in September, 2010.

Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 front and rear tires (F: 215/40ZR/17; R:265/35ZR/18) - tires replaced with 16,000 miles on the car and still have lots of treadwear left.

Car has been well maintained, garage kept, and only driven on clear days. Paintwork is in excellent shape. Small scratch by rear antenna and a few rock chips on the right side valence, otherwise just minor rock chips in the front. Interior has been meticulously maintained, leather has been cleaned and conditioned frequently. Car still smells like new when you get in. Have all keys and ownership manuals.

MODIFICATIONS:

This car, although not stock, is not far off from a stock 2002+ NSX. Here is an extensive list of the modifications that have been done. I have receipts for all of the modifications and can provide to the new owner.

Suspension:

Bilstein shocks
Dali coilover kit for Bilstein shocks
Eibach sport lowering springs
Anti-sway bars from Dali

Fenders are flush but not slammed. Sway bars really tighten up the steering (car doesn’t float like a stock NSX would). Car handles much better than a stock NSX.

Wheels:

Zeforged Mesh Rims – 17” front, 18” rear. Brushed aluminum face with a polished lip, about 1.5” in front, 3” in rear.

These rims look outstanding from a couple of feet away, but the brushed aluminum has not held up as I would have hoped for rims that cost $2500. There are some scratches and some brake dust that doesn’t seem to come off. A good polish might help. I can send pictures if desired.

Riding on the Goodyear Eagle F1 tires noted above.

Exhaust:

Cantrell exhaust
Cantrell headers

The exhaust is obviously louder than stock but not obnoxious (nice throaty sound) and does not drone at highway speeds. Adds a little bit of HP and acceleration seems more linear. I bought these from Science of Speed for about $2800 although it doesn’t appear that they sell them anymore.

Body:

2002 Rear Valence
2002 Rear center and left/right taillights
Downforce Sports 2002 Style Front Bumper
Downforce Sports Front Lip
Downforce NSX-R Style Hood
Downforce Stacy Side Skirts w/ Door Panels
2002-2005 Headlight Conversion Kit

Did complete 2002 conversion. All paintwork and installation done by Science of Speed and looks flawless.

Windows:

Tinted, 20% in rear, 35% on sides.

Done by a local shop that does all my cars and work is excellent. This is legal in Missouri and not too dark.

Interior:

Remote radar detector (Valentine One) with Valentine One Mirror

This is a really great set-up – the Valentine One arrows are etched in the mirror. The radar detector sits on a mount behind the front seats (passengers who sit in my car never even notice it, as it sits back a lot). The only wire you see is from the mirror to the roofline (about 1-2”). If you don’t like this mod, could be easily taken out and sold on Prime for $500+ (I paid $300 for the mirror, no longer available).

Kenwood Excelon DNX6960 Double-Din Navigation Receiver with touch screen, GPS, iPod connector in the center console.

Science of Speed Stage 2 Audiophile Stereo

http://www.scienceofspeed.com/produ...ts/NSX/ScienceofSpeed/ProFormance_Audiophile/

This is a great set-up and sounds great. Subwoofer sits in the passenger footwell. Amplifier is in the trunk. Tweet speakers have been installed in the A pillars. All installation work done by Science of Speed. This is another modification that could be easily un-installed if you don’t like it and sold for $1000+ on Prime. Stereo was installed with about 20,000 miles on the car, so has not been heavily used.

All in all, I put a lot of $ into this car as you can see (over $30K in parts and installation and I realize I won’t get a lot of it back!).

STOCK PARTS:

I have the right and left speakers, factory antenna (Shark Attack II Antenna is on the car), and exhaust. I also have the stealth license plate frame from Science of Speed (not currently using).

Car has been sold. Please lock this thread. Thanks to Prime and the wonderful NSX community here. Good luck to the new owner, hopefully he'll get it out a little more than I ever did.
