Details
Reluctantly selling my 2002 Silverstone/Silver ("custom" interior color above because scroll down menu does not have silver as an option).
I originally bought the car in 2007 from the manager of an exotic car dealership in Naples, Florida. Car only had ~7000 miles on it then and was rarely driven. Before that, the previous owner (I believe) leased the car in Texas. I have owned it for 11 years and have meticulously cared for it. All maintenance done, everything mechanically sound and works perfectly. I am selling only because I have a 2017 NSX now and don't have the room in the garage for both long-term. I'm not in a hurry to sell, though, so please don't waste our time with lowball offers. Car is worth every penny of what I'm asking for it. See it in person and you'll agree!
EXTERIOR
Car has paint protection film on the front that goes halfway up the hood and fenders, as well as on the side rocker panels and rear lower quarter panel. It's done it's job well, having had some hits that would have messed up the paint underneath if it wasn't there. There are a few deep cuts on the bra that may have caused a scratch underneath, the film would have to be removed to see for sure. Besides that, the car has a few small scratches here and there, most notably two on the aft side of the targa that are about 1/2" long. Car does not have a single dent or ding anywhere, it's all small nicks, chips, or scratches. The only paintwork that has been done was a very small job to fix scratches around the license plate and two tiny holes under the rear valence from a previous Downforce carbon fiber license plate garnish and rear diffuser installation. The entire car has been detailed to a mirror finish, with Chemical Guys Carbon Flex C9 applied for protection and to enhance the OEM Silverstone's amazing depth.
INTERIOR
As soon as I bought the car, I put in aftermarket seats and other parts. All OEM parts were put in storage and maintained. Because of this, the OEM interior is almost as if it were out of a time capsule, with the seats being near-mint and other interior parts only having superficial scratches here and there. The seats have minimal/no bolster wear. One small 1/4" cut to the leather on the passenger seat by the seat belt attachment point, but it's on the side and not visible. The driver's seat has a small wear spot on the inside left hip that I'd have to point out for you to notice. Carpet and floor mats have a couple of light stains but overall in excellent shape. There's a few other small nicks and things (evidence of usage, haha) but I'm really trying hard to find stuff that's wrong. If you're really interested in the car PM me and I'll go through every little flaw for you. Stereo works great, OEM CD changer plays CDs well.
UNDERHOOD, FRONT/BACK
No issues, mechanically perfect, meticulously maintained. No issues at all! Recently inspected and maintenance performed by one of the original 1991 Acura factory-trained NSX Technicians. Any issues he found were small and addressed (see above).
SUSPENSION:
Tires are brand new Pirelli P Zero Neros (August 2018). Wheels are in excellent shape, no curbing but a few scratches on the face of a few spokes. Brakes have about 75% pad life remaining with new brake fluid on 11/17.
NON-OEM ITEMS ON THE CAR:
-Autovation aluminum pedals
-JDM NSX-R front upper and lower chassis reinforcement bars (makes the car much more like a coupe, especially with the targa roof off)
-Honda S2000 style radio antenna (I have the OEM antenna and hardware that goes with the car as well)
PM or email me with questions. I can give you contact info for local NSX Tech if you would like to discuss the car with him.
