I finally saw the 2009 Dodge Challenger in person cruising down the freeway today. It looks pretty hot and resembles a lot of the old school 70's Mopar.
Unlike the Charger, it's probably one of the best models produced by Dodge.

Gabe, my bro in law ordered an orange one from King City. Hopefully, it should be here soon. Man, that car is huge!

They certainly do look sharp. I saw an all silver (no stupid stripes) one a week or two ago.
Too bad the car weighs a ton and is a total pig (shocker). It's only running mid 13's in the 1/4. We can do that with our stock 270hp V6's...

Checked out a couple of them at Huntington Beach Dodge after having lunch at Norms across the street a week ago. Nice car, just not my thing.

I never bought into the whole "new retro" design trend that the US Auto makers have gone through this last decade. So these cars do nothng for me.

When i first saw pictures of the new Mustang i thought it was a good idea considering how ugly the last several design were but the trend got old fast and the new Camaro hasn't even come out yet.

I also saw the ones at Huntington Beach dodge this morning. They look ok. Although they have a vintage purple challenger in front too (not sure about the year). I nearly stopped on beach blvd to look at the purple one. I think dodge and chevy missed the retro phase by a couple years, as the economy is poor and gas is more expensive.

When are they going to offer a manual with limited slip? Those options supposedly aren't available on the current Challenger.
