2012 London Paralympic Games - Zanardi

Always the competitor...Go for Gold Alex!!

+1. I am actually very surprised that this forum isn't more into Zanardi, no one here needs to be reminded that the best 50/51 NSXs that came to the U.S. are named after this guy. Did the NSXCA ever thought about inviting him to NSXPO?

Once a champion, always a champion no matter the circumstances. I see more examples of the true olympic spirit in the paralympians than in the "regular" olympians especialy with so many professionals in the highlight events. Alex is someone you always want to cheer for. What a great story and inspiration he is.

Zanardi wins Gold in first race!! How awesome is that!

I have nothing but appreciation and marvel at his determination and his long-lasting competitive spirit. Such a role model to everyone, disabled or not...

This would be a fantastic goal. If Zanardi wants to compete in the 500, I would support him 100%. He did 13 laps at full speed at Eurospeedway in a hand-throttled control Champcar, he is more than capable of doing it now. Indycar would get worldwide press, but more importantly allow Zanardi to try the 500 for the first time. It would be a special event! Now imagine if Honda did some PR, maybe even get some Zanardi NSXs at the yard of bricks to promote the new NSX with Zanardi there, how cool would that be!
