I'm no expert when it comes to these things, but I like to think I have a decent idea what I'm going. I made some LED tail lights and wanted the break and turn sections to light up when the breaks are hit and the turn section to light up separately and blink. I used 2 single pole double throw relays and wired it up the only way I could think to that would work. The only issue is that the break sections and the spoiler LED's all flash right before the turn section actually lights up. The photo below is my ghetto wiring diagram. Also There is a video of what the tails are doing and the issue I'm having. If anyone has any ideas, I would really appreciate the help! I'm so close to being done with this project but there had to be one last speed bump.....

Here is the video of my issue

Woah you just blew my mind with that one! Is it something they would have at radio shack? Also which connections would it be linked with. Thanks!

I don't have any solutions but just wanted to say your setup looks pretty cool in the video.

Thanks for the positive comments guys! I wasn't too sure how everyone would react to them considering they are much different than any other LED conversions I have seen. I will have them both together and post a full function video up very soon on my concept thread.

You can get diodes at Radio Shack. Connect one in parallel with each relay coil, making sure the cathode (indicated by the lined end) goes to the +12v side and the anode (the other end) goes to ground. Generic 1A 125V diodes should work fine.

More info here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flyback_diode

Hope this helps.
