how does everyone attach the shift boot after replacing the knob?

any cool ideas?

nylon wire tie works well. I think Dali has a DIY write up somewhere on his site. I used that write up and basically, you wind up folding the top boot in and wire tying tight from underneath. The results are close to OEM-looking and mine was with a Momo ball-type knob. Good luck. Keep the receipt for your knob, because (depending on which style you get) it can dramatically change the feel of the shift...hopefully, you'll like the new feel. Good luck, RJ
