Aftermarket Throttle body with OEM Ecu?

I don't know why not if you can figure out how to get the aftermarket throttle position sensor to speak to the ECU in the same voltage sweep as OEM.

You would also need to replicate the IACV and FITV ports on the aftermarket throttle or your idle will be wrong.

Haven't decided yet, maybe just a OEM throttle body but with all the stepper motor removed to reduce weight.

My other thought was ITB's using the OEM ECU & using another TPS 0-3V wired to the replace the Map sensor now that we have sr5Guy's definition.
I'm going to give it a try anyway.

All you need to do is force the ECU into MAP sensor limp mode, and clear the MAP sensor codes manually. By default it uses the TPS for LOAD calculations (alpha-n LOAD) when the MAP sensor fails and even has some TPS - LOAD scaling tables built in for for adjustment.

I can assist you if you're serious.
