The S-AFC requires dyno tuning to get any performance enhancements out of it.
The unit is most benefical when you are boosted or running nitrous and your stock injector duty cycle is approaching the limit and you're running lean. You then upgrade to larger injectors and use the S-AFC to bring the mixture back into line. Go to www.roadraceengineering.com and read their write up on the unit. The manual for the unit can be downloaded free from www.apexi-usa.com.
PS: Tuning would best be done on an absorbtion dynomometer, not an inertia dyno (like a dyno jet). You need to be able to set a point and hold it to tune this unit.
