In a previous post, "David" indicated that he was able to get an Acura dealer to make good the mistake of another Acura dealer.

Does anyone have any experience with this? Do I contact my local dealer (there is only one) and talk to the service manager?

Any help would be appreciated.
It was years ago and involved a dealership in Dallas damaging a front tire and the dealership in Austin replacing it for me. I brought it up with my dealership and used the 'Acura is Acura and it doesn't matter which dealership' argument. The local dealer is pretty good about customer service, so they contacted the dealear in Dallas, discussed the problem and agreed they (Dallas dealership) had made a mistake. The local dealer made it right and billed the costs (somehow) to the dealer in Dallas.
