Hi guys,
I just purchased a 97 Nsx T after wrecking my 92.On this car the rpm's seem to hang a bit between shifts.Ive heard its due to the drive-by-wire throttle on the 97.Is there any way to correct this?Upgraded ecm, etc.
Im new to this forum and everyone seems very helpful.I look forward to spending a lot of time here.

Thanks

Joe

How about a lighter flywheel?
That should make things zip up and down alot faster.
I switched to Dali's flywheel (available on 3.0L only I think) and it gave the engine a much lighter feel.

Edo,

That may work.Ive already ordered my clutch set-up and it comes with a lighter flywheel so we will see.I hate to sound so anal but my 92 was perfect and I guess I expected a 97 to be more refined.

That is a known issue on 97+ cars. The rotating mass in your car is actually lighter than the 96 and below cars. You should consult your Acura dealer. There was a TSB issued that has the dealer correct the software in the car.

See www.nsxprime.com/toc.htm and look for the TSB section.
