Best sounding engine I've heard: Mustang??

that is a brand new 500KR or 500GT by the looks of it...mustangs never sound like that. i cant believe its real. if it is, just wow.... but if it IS a brand new KR/GT he shouldnt be high revving it like that.

The camera guy said the exhaust smells bad, that leads me to believe its new.

It looks like a GT500. If you listen carefully, he's not revving it that high. What you're hearing is the whine of the supercharger.

My thoughts too...supercharger. Also, it looks like it says "Saleen" on the tail, but I can't make it out. Maybe Shelby?

.... this one sounds like a kazoo

The standard SOHC and DOHC's both have attracted my ears for many years. They sound terrific with aftermarket exhausts. The engines are VERY large for a transplant though, and the displacement is not large enough for a transplant either.

I think an AMC Eagle sounds like an F1 and looks better.
