Blown head gasket! Sealant?

Yup, got a blown head gasket, but NOT on my nsx!:smile:
Just wondering if anyone has tried these sealant repair stuff, i did a search and couldn't find any mention...Thansk!

Those are temporarily fixes to get you to the nearest mechanic shop. Don't bother with it. Some folks actually used them but later find out it does more harm than good. Mechanics love$ those type of people :biggrin:

I wouldn't take any shortcuts. Head gasket should get replace right away before it gets even more expensive.

Yep, I destroyed my $400 84 Toyota 4x4 rock crawler project that way. I was being lazy and VERY cheap. seized the motor in less than 4 miles. Head gasket was <$20.

yes, that will be me! Got this intrepid, the body is still in very good shape...but...I'm just Lazy and Cheap....:redface:

No real way around it. Gotta get a new gasket. It's as good as gone by pouring any of that stuff into your motor.

Some cheap rotary guys use IRONTITE and give the motor about another 35K miles before rebuild.
