Bummer about HMS Bounty and the 2 missing crew

My wife held a private event for a local NPO on this ship over the summer and I talked quite a bit with many of the crew. Pretty bummed about this. Most were unpaid volunteers and the owner had the ship up for sale as he was apparently losing $$$ (he doesn't actually sail on the boat). Pretty stupid though to sail through a hurricane.

Maybe now he will get an insurance payout and stop losing money...

Not worth the cost in blood though. At this point there's little hope that those two are still alive.

The HMS Bounty is usually docked here in St Petersburg FL during the winter months. Very sad, I worked next to this ship for many years. Lots of history. A Porn film was filmed on this ship when it was docked here at the St Pete Pier. I believe the ship was enroute to St Pete
