I am in the market for an NSX.:wink: That are the smog requirements (problems) with bringing an out of state car into California. What about vehicle registration?

No problems. My car came from Boston with Comptech headers and exhaust. Passed smog with no issue.
DMV looks at the car mainly to check the VIN. Pay the registration and sales tax and you get a plate the same day.

Where are you located? what are you looking for in an NSX?
About a year ago I bought my 97 NSX-T from Ohio to California and had the same question you do. When I checked with Acura, they told me that all NSX's comply with the state of California's emission standards.
