Those who didn't show up missed this gem.

Idiots like that will be a reason why car show/meets always end up shutting down

2 wrongs = Do'h!!

1st wrong - Vette losing control

2nd wrong - I am pretty sure where those folks were standing is NOT a sidewalk for pedestrians

Good thing no one was harmed expect maybe the vette drivers pride...and maybe some of the pedestrians underwear

The vette owner posted on FB stating he hit a wet spot and lost control. He said it was not intentional.

Check out the sign they made for the Dallas C&C after several similar issues...

i'd also blame the spectators, more than the driver for standing at a very unsafe spot. but i hope we dont have incidents like this again because that can really shut this meet down.

So you are blaming the spectators for the driver being an idiot?

Can't blame the spectators when they are OFF the roadway. Even if they were walking along the edge of the roadway, they'd still have right of way.

How can you blame someone standing off the road for a driver who rams his car up a curb on accident?

read the quote again.

I said i'd also blame the spectators for standing at a very unsafe spot. specially when they knew what kind of stunts were being performed.

Now he wouldn't have had this issue if he was in a front wheel drive, 4 cylinder, no torque making Honda Civic:rolleyes: Cause Civic's dont loose control until 5500rpm VTEC engagement:biggrin:

I'm glad everyone is safe.

I'm sure losing control was not intentional, but I didn't see a wet spot on the road in the video. Though I did see someone applying too much throttle with the steering wheel turned over too far and then overcorrecting.

An orange Viper at the Dallas show was showing off & almost did the same move as this Corvette. Even the t-shirts made for the Dallas show have this motto on them. :)
