CD changer error 01, how can I fix it?

The CD changer just would not come out. I mean I unlock the harness and tilt it towards me then, I open the latch door, but that is it. I am trying to eject the CD cassette and pressing eject does not make any effect. The display in the car reads CD error 01. Manual says that when it shows error 01 the only way to fix it is to take it to the dealer... Is that right? Anybody knows how to fix that problem and pull that CD cassette out?

Thanks CDX_NSX. However, I have no idea of what is "feeler gauge"? What is it? I understand it is some kind of a tool, but how does it look like and where can I get one?

Actually, I believe that this is a feeler gauge:

However, I think that the same can be accomplished by a credit card or similar.
