Out of curiosity, I wanted to price out new injectors for my 2000 C32B. The parts listing for the 2000 shows two injectors, 06164-P0A-A00 and 06164-PBY-A50. Both appear to be listed as sets (includes the O rings). The US fitment guides indicate that both apply to both the 3.0 and 3.2 l engines. I would have thought that the C30 and C32 might have different flow rates. Amayama lists the A00 as applying to the C32B2 and a whole bunch of other engines with the A50 only applying to the C30A4, C32B and C32B2. I have no clue what a C32B2 is. On the US based websites they list for the same price. On Amayama they list at less than 1/2 the cost of most US vendors; but, A00 lists for $163 Cdn and A50 lists for $150 Cdn.

Does anybody know what the correct injector is for the 2000 C32B? The P0A and PBY vehicle codes don't seem to jive with the typical NSX SL0 vehicle code. However, the fitment guide implies that the A50 injectors were not used on any other Honda / Acura vehicles so I am having a little trouble figuring out what is what.

Interesting mystery. So, from a practical standpoint, we know that the 3.0 and 3.2 injectors do have different flow rates: 240cc for the 3.0 and 270cc for the 3.2. I never checked the part numbers though because I just had the original injectors serviced. This is probably a question for @Kaz-kzukNA1, though I suspect it may be due to the different emissions setups in the engines. I think both 3.0 and 3.2 engines after 2000 or something have the air injection system, which may use different fuel injectors?

You are correct about the air injection system which arrived with the 2000 model year. However, the air injection system only operates for a very short period of time after start up. Its purpose is to add O2 into the exhaust stream to mix with unburnt HC and bring the catalytic converters up to operating temperature ASAP. I don't know for sure; but, I would not expect the aux air system to alter the injector requirement.

The US based application guide for the P0A-A00 shows that it applies to both the 3.0 and 3.2 from 1995 - 2003. The PBY-A50 application guide shows that it applies to both the 3.0 and 3.2 from 1996 - 2005. I went back to the Amayama site and did a search starting with the 2000 model year NSX and and then applied the search restrictions which eliminated all the other production options except C32B / 6 speed and that resulted in a single hit of 06164-PBY -A50. If I switch the search restrictions to 2000 C30 / Auto I get a single hit of 06164-PR7-A50. I restarted the parts search using the 2005 model year because the application guides give some confusing / conflicting guidance on the applicable years. The 2005 with the C32B also gets the 06164-PBY -A50 injector and with the C30A gets the 06164-PR7-A50 injector, so unchanged from the recommendations for the 2000. So, based upon that I am thinking that the 06164-PBY-A50 injector is the correct injector for the C32B; but, it would be nice if someone knew for sure.

Just out of interest, Amayama lists two different injector numbers that apply to the 92-93 NSX R so at least 5 injector part numbers for the NSX.

That is so odd. I always thought there were just two: the 3.0 and the 3.2. We may need Kaz on this one.

Just looked up the Amayama part number based on my car JDM Type S GH-NA2 LEV (post September 1999 MMU) and for the chassis number, and the part listed is as: 06164-PBY-A00
