Never mind. I am sorry I didn't do a search before I posted this.

Try pulling the clock fuse under the hood for about 10 seconds and then put it back in. It will reset it and it MIGHT go away for good. Mine came on several times again and I had to do the fuse pull several times. Then it finally went away for good.

Otherwise you could have a bad EPS computer which would be expensive to replace.

I just did that and it worked.
Thanks a million...........

Since you have a '95 as do I, you may need to have the EPS unit replaced. Mine would work for a while with the fuse trick, only to repeat the problem.
This is covered under a TSB and should not cost you anything. Mine was done a couple of years ago by the dealer and it has been fine since.

That TSB was issued in 98. Do you think they would honor it this late?
I hope, I hope, I hope.

Take a trip to the dealer with the TSB printed out and ask them. I bought my car 4 years ago so it was out of warranty when I took it in. Note that the TSB does not have a warranty statement.
Also do not get confused that the TSB only applies to '97 models - it does not. It says that it applies to all VINs up to '97.
Good luck.

News update.....The light keeps coming on even after reset. Also no power steering. I went to the dealer and he looked up the TSB and said my car was about 2+ years past the TSB date. He then ask if I had done all the required services with an Acura dealer. I just bought the car 24 hours ago and the car records were a little thin. So I really don't know what was done with the other owners. I know that all the last owner did was oil and filter himself. Service guy said the service manager might be able to get the TSB done if I do a 30,000 with them. The car has 43,000. Is this a good idea? I figure the EPS computer has to be a big buck item. Is the 30,000 check much of anything? I do have records the brake system flushed and fluid has been changed. I did look at the FAQ at the 30,000 doesn't look like much is done. I do know the Timing belt and H2O pump has never been changed either. Should I do that this visit? I know this is rambles but I am doing this before I run out of the house.
Gotta run...
Thanks a million you guys..

I would suggest getting the service items done soon in any case. I did a number of general service items along with the belt and pump this spring. I spent $3K in all. I only drove the car a few hundred miles, after purchase, prior to getting the car in for service as I was concerned about driving with a timing belt that was out of it's time limit.

If the dealer is willing to try to help you I would jump at it. Your not the first owner of the car and the TSB time limit is up so I would not expect an OEM to assist in most cases.

FYI,

I don't know which local dealer you are going to, but I would HIGHLY recommend Gary Force. NSX tech there is Barney. For anything Acura is paying for (TSB), go the dealer and have him do it. For anything you are paying for, you might want to PM Barn Man on this board as he has a little shop on the side. See HERE.

Also, I am guessing you are a SWA pilot based in Nashville? If you happen to be flying the BWI to BNA route this Friday at 3, say hi and don't crash. ;)
