Faded rear window hatch trim

The black rear window hatch edge trim on my '93 NSX has "greyed out". I'm told it's a plastic (polyethylene?).:confused: Need best ways to restore to original black color. All suggestions welcome. :wink:Tried one from a prior post- didn't work. Realize surface must be cool & dry to attempt.:cool:
