Good old ALLAN racing a Zo6

And I believe you! If you spray, i think you will best the time of that NSX. The NSX, in this instance has the turbo, exhaust, intake, intercooler.... Not too much weight saving at all, except for the regular spare tire, tools... being remove. I sold one of my NSX motor to FactorX, and it has turned out crazy. For the Basch cars, I honestly have no opinion about the matter.

ALLAN said:
Oh and yes, a Stock Esprit is just as quick as Basch Supercharged NSX. And btw, how are those supercharged Basch cars holding up?:D

Heh... low blow :)

I think your lambo on the NOS would pretty much beat any NSX on this site.

Unfortunately, I think you are in the minority with this opinion.

I like ALLAN's posts... spices things up... I know I am not alone..

11.4 at what mph? Was it on regular street tires or Drag radials?

124, on street tires, and that was only at 500rwhp, they have it at mid 600's now.

It has made for some levity... It was pretty quiet...

Now if you spray @150/200 and GJ sprays @100 you still will be in a very close race... Or at least I would like to think so.;)

Only thing about that, the CV joints will not hold up to long before they grenade.
Now what would happen with a car producing 500FTLB of Torque?

But what if i were to do cams, port the heads, headers, larger throttle bodies etc. All available for the DIablos now.

Then you would spend A LOT of $$$$$$$$.:D Seriously, impressive set of vehilces you have there Allan. Let me know when you want to hire somebody. ;)

Me Too!

Incidentally, did you ever make it to 200 on the Sawgrass Exwy when you lived in S. FLA?

Actually on spray had it buried past an indicated 220mph bouncing off the rev limiter.

ALLAN said:
Im sorry guys, but 124mph, with 500rwhp, is just not fast.

Don't you consider your old lotus fast? It is no where near that. Don't you consider a Viper fast? It is slower than that. Hell, stock merci and gallardo do not run 124 MPH in the traps...

Factor X thinks they will be in high 10's shortly. I would say that is fast. If they keep at it, they might be able to catch the supra from Fast and Furious :)

124 is fast stock, or relatively stock. Not fast in a completely worked auto. Murci will run right around 124 / 125 in the 1/4 if driven crrectly.

Well, I will say that particular diablo was SMOKING fast... however, here is another test result from a 91.

Diablo/91 5.7/V-12/5M/rwd 485/7000 428/5200 4.4 13.2/109.6 N/A 0.91 N/A

Here a 1990:
Top Speed 325.1 kph / 202.0 mph 0 - 60 mph 4.5 seconds
0 - ¼ mile 13.3 seconds 0 - 100 mph 10.8 seconds
Lateral Acceleration 0.91g EPA City/Hwy 9 / 14 mpg

Here a 94 VT:
Top Speed 325.1 kph / 202.0 mph 0 - 60 mph 4.6 seconds
0 - ¼ mile 13.2 seconds 0 - 100 mph 10.9 seconds

Here a 2000 VT 6.0
Top Speed 329.9 kph / 205.0 mph 0 - 60 mph 3.95 seconds
0 - ¼ mile 11.9 seconds 0 - 100 mph 8.9 seconds

SO, in conclusion, that 91 Diablo hits 100 MPH faster than a 2000 VT 6.0.

Like I said, THAT particular car tested that day was VERY fast. I cannot find anything else that is remotely close to that time.

You have ran yours before at the dragstrip right? What did you run? With and without NOS?

BTW.. fix your avatar... I miss that SV pic :)

Only one run on nitrous, 10.98@133, on a 150 shot, blowing the tires off down the track. My buddy stock Sv ran an 11.6@123.

Personally, I think it is impressive for a NSX with HALF the engine size and a turbo to run as fast as a $250,000 SV.

Would you be impressed if the Factor X NSX ran in the 10's?

Here is another article. 0-60 in 3.4sec.

No i wouldnt be impressed. Id be impressed if it ran 140mph in the 1/4.

Murcielagos dont make 500 rwhp, and weigh substantially more than an NSx, and they run right around 124-125 in the 1/4. So a Nsx that makes 500rwhp, and weighs hundreds of pounds less should be running much quicker. A 500rwhp SUPRA runs faster than 124, and its heavier.
