GPS in Japan

when i was checking out new system for my car i was wondering. Would the U.S GPS for your car work in Japan or would i have to get a whole diffrent unit there? Do they have system that intergrade both? cause i have a system that works for the U.S and when i move will it work over in Japan? any help would be grateful.

You will need to check w/ your GPS manufacturer to see if they offer Japan maps. If they do, you may be able to download it, get the CD, the SD card, etc w/ for the maps.

There is a company in Tokyo that offers English GPS support and the software even speaks in English. I forget the name but they also help import and export vehicles. I have never dealt with them but let me know if you need some follow up.
