I have 5

2007 Specialized Langster (Singlespeed roadie)
97 Gary Fisher Marlin (my "commuter bike")
96 Gary Fisher KaiTai (Mountain hardtail ready for full overhaul this winter)

90's Dyno Compe (in pieces)

88 Dyno D-tour built up to replicate my childhood freestyle bike.

Just wondering if there were any other cyclists on here.

1992 Kona Kilauea hardtail w/ XTR upgrades. Steel. Got another 20 years life! :tongue:

2002 Novara something or other hideous green cyclocross/touring bike that I rode cross country on. Boy is she ugly, but a tank!

One of these days, a nice Seven or Merlin Ti road bike will be in the stable.

I still have my Miata Pro that I bought and raced in 1983. I also still have my Bridgestone MB-3 mountian bike that I bought in 1991.

Still have these from my cycling team/enthusiast days:

1992 Klein Quantum that I speced out and built up myself from a bare frameset. Early '90s vintage Dura-Ace/Ultegra mix. One of the last Kleins before the buyout.

1990 Specialized Stumpjumper Comp

They still get ridden once in awhile, but far less than they should :tongue:

I also raced back in the mid 80's, what Category were you in? I raced at CAL and was Cat 4 for a while before I gave up racing and just did the Centuries.

I haven't ridden in over 17 years but everytime I watch the Tour, I want to get back in.

i have:

* '92 bridgestone rbt
* '95 stump jumper composite
* '03 ryan / longbikes slipstream recumbent

we have:
* '92 ibis cousin it tandem
* '01(?) ryan / longbikes duplex / gulfstream recumbent tandem

as evidenced by our weight / conditioning, we don't get on the bikes nearly enough.

<sigh>

2006 HARO Z20 backtrail. (my "commuter bicycle")

Still got my Trek Hardtail from 10 years ago when I actually raced XC a little.

My life revolved around racing up until I got hit by a car in 1990, and then my metabolism took a crap while my lawyer worked to get me a new bike.

Despite that, I've still got some horses in the stable....

1. Late '90s Mountain Cycle San Andreas- I love this bike! It's pretty light for how beefy it looks. It's running XTR stuff, along with disc brakes. Gets more looks on the trail than the NSX gets on the road.

2. Trek fixed gear track bike- Bought this about 5 years ago after locals promised a velodrome, but have yet to follow through on this. Can't wait to try it out on the banked oval.

3. Litespeed titanium road bike- Bought off of a friend, it's a pretty normal bike with the standard Shimano Ultegra gruppo.

I've got a lot of old Campagnolo stuff in my attic, which I might throw onto a classic Italian frame sometime in the future. I've really grown partial to the new stuff lately, though, now that everyone is into exotic materials and stuff. Back in the day, things like carbon Modolo Kronos brakes, American Classic hubs/seatposts, and Huret Jubilee deraileurs were the epitome of lightweight techonogy. Nowadays, even Shimano has all kinds of CF stuff, and nearly everyone has a lightweight aero wheelset for sale.

'05 Specialised Epic S works.
'93 ?? Clark Kent F12 Titanium with AMP F3 carbon forks, XTR groupset.
Bits..........3 AMP F3 frames, F3 forks, F4 forks, Spinergy Carbon wheelset, Paul component rear mech.

Still looking for a Tioga disc drive Pro :(

I currently have four and we ride 'em regularly:

Cannondale M400 (fully upgraded to XT component group & Rolf wheels)

1973 Gios Torino with full Campy Super Record Gruppo, recently restored

Gary Fisher Tassajara MTB (guest bike)

Diamondback Sorrento Ladies MTB (for the missus)

I have an old Miyata 9-12 road bike and a GT mountain bike.

I've went through ALOT mid upper end bikes but what I have now is my 2000 K2 Zed X. Only thing stock left is Fork (Noleen Mega Air upgraded 100mm 2.8lbs) and seat post(some cheap kalloy). Everything thing else got upgraded. 23lbs

I raced cruisers in ABA bmx.

I have a Specialized Stumpjumper Expert 06' for Mountain. (great bike w/ XT and XTR comps and FOX Adjustable Shocks F/R

For Road I just bought a 07 Specialized S-Works Langster.

I used to race XC about 8 years ago and did a little road racing (Portland to Oregon etc....)

I live in the sierra foothills so most of my bikes are mountain, and I build them as I go..I was looking to pick up a cyclecross bike this fall and get rid of the specialized...glad to see other cyclist's here!
Ventana El Saltamontes xc mountain built.
Ventana El Toro singlespeed mountain built
Specialized S works frame built xc mountain full suspension
Cannondale F400 frame hardtail built
Orbea Alma 29er mountain carbon built
Klein Q-Pro XX Triple road bike (just got this a while ago)

Uh... I got a Schwinn :redface: but I ride it around all the time. Just never saw a need for a fancy high priced bike when all I want to do is cruise to the store or the park or whereever.

I build these things(Ti Cycles), so I can't keep up with what I have...

Here is my current road bike: True Temper S3 tubing, Dura-ace components, with race wheels it's about 15 lb. Fun climbing bike, real smooth too!

I still have most of the BMX bikes I raced over the years. I sold a good amount of the BMX bikes I collected to make room and have funds for the NSX I bought in the summer of 2006. My favorite BMX bikes would be the Pattersons, Boss, Skyway and Redlines.
