Hmmm, i couldn't decide what to entitle this thread "my new girlfriend" or "hottest girl i've ever seen NSFW" which ensures at least 20,000 view hits ;) :D But instead i settled on a taunt. hehe.....

Here's the reason i haven't been on prime much (as if anybody noticed) -- my new baby - a 2007 CBR 600RR. :D

[this is not actually her; the original photos i posted were deleted because they lacked nsx content.... or because they were NSFW coz she's HOOOOOOTTTTT!!!!!! hehe ]

Seriously, as much as I still love the NSX, this is the only way to enjoy seat-of-your-pants speed & excitement. Makes an NSX's acceleration feel like you're in a civic (*SHOCK* blasphemy!!! but i am referring to a civic type-r of course :D hehe )

oh and here's one more photo of me and my bike... :D

Motorcycles are a blast but I'll take the safety of a NSX every time :). Actually that's precisely why I sold mine. (air conditioning ftw as well)

NICE ride Neo!!!

Love the CBR's and VF-VTR's....I miss riding so much!

Have fun out there and be safe!

I noticed you say "off the line" I guess you already know that most modded turbo cars will pull on you at highway speeds...

thanx guys for the lovely comments and forgiving my cheeky NSX-taunt. Hehe... hopefully we'll have some CBR600RR + NSX photos in the future. :D

especially want to say thanx to Hasdrubal for your lovely words - i agree, the '07 is the best looking. 03-06 is great but kinda looks a little dated, the '07 was the sweet spot, and the '08/09 is ok but not sure where they are headed in terms of cosmetics. wish i had ABS though. ;) oh, and 929's are sweet - do you have any photos?

When I was in the military, I had a Yamaha R6. I sold it in 2002 and never looked back. It was a load of fun at the time (when you live near open roads, you're young, not-married, no fears, etc). Now, I would NEVER own one.

Nice bike, makes me think about trading in my 929. You have hands down, the best looking generation of CBR 600 ever made.
This generation of CBR600RR is the best looking. However, the concurrent CBR1000RR is the ugliest of all Fireblades. Just sold my CBR954RR which I think is the best Fireblade of all.

Mike ,you are ascending the horspower ladder:cool: Your last bike was what a 250....be carefull with this one.someday down the road you will have that 3000 cc motor you have always wanted:wink:

I'll try not to take it personally. My Blade is an all Black '08 and I think it looks dope, but it is hotly debated. I will say some of the two-tone pairings don't really work for me, but the Euro-only red-white-and-blue HRC livery is the bomb. More important, though, is it's ridiculously great to ride.

a few years back I was looking to get a motorcycle. your bike is exactly what I was looking for. matches my car and was a Honda product.
Great choice in brand and color.

+1 the 954 and the Duc 916 were the ultimate lookers in my book and I'd own either one of them if given the chance again.

while I love the honda bike, please get yourself a Ducati if 2 wheels are what you want. :wink:

and yes, you are a nsx-hater, since you missed all other nsxpo after you get the freebie.... j/k, but I couldn't resist.

How are you doing NEO? I met you at a Cal Coastal ride a few years back, you got to ride with me to the meeting place. I feel ya about the bike though, it gets your adrenaline rushing. I'd be cruising in the NSX and see a bunch of riders or my friends would call me up, I would rush home to pick up the bike. Then sometimes it would be the other way around. Unfortunately I don't have either now, but sooner or later I'll one of each again.

I'd love a Duke, but i need a reliable daily rider... not just for weekends or when it's not in the shop. hahaha.... ;) Though if i had the money for a ducati, i'd be buying an NSX first. :D

and as for the nsx-hater comment... hahaha.... technically by missing those nsxpo's and so-cal canyon drives i should have enough money saved for an NSX. Where did all that money go????? Oh wait... oil prices. :p
(hopefully i'll get rich quick sometime in the future and go to another nsxpo. seriously it was a life-changing experience)

Hey Rebel, Absolutely i remember you - unfortunately i've forgotten your real name but you picked me up from John's place in your murdered-look black nsx with mad black spoked rims. You were in the marines from memory i think???

you know *EXACTLY* what i'm talking about: The rush. :D Very addictive.

Blackend and whiteNSX's -- 954's are phenomenal. I've ridden one - almost pealed the skin off my face it was so fast. :D Great looking bike too - love the angry headlights.

Very nice bike NEO, i have to ask, why didn't you put the money towards an NSX?:smile:

Simple maths. Let me walk you through it...

NSX = $50-60,000
600RR = $10-11,000 (BIKE WINS)

NSX = 1,340kg
600RR = 154.7kg dry weight (Lighter; BIKE WINS)

NSX = 0-60mph in 5.2secs
600RR = 0-60mph in 2.8secs (BIKE WINS)

NSX = 8,000RPM Redline
600RR = 15,500RPM (BIKE WINS)

NSX vs 600RR cost for service or parts or repairs or .... we all know the answer to this one, BIKE WINS :D

Hope this explains my decision making process. :D haaha.... enjoy lol

Raining NSX wins

Collision NSX wins

Sound system NSX wins

carrying capability NSX wins

Comfort in Winter NSX wins

Understood, but the nsx isnt about straight out performance, remember! It's a classic car, nice choice though on the bike.:biggrin:

Don't get too cocky, because there are a few turbo NSXs out there that can humble you very quickly (also off the line).

:smile:
