The SmarTenna for the NSX has been improved so now it is even easier to install and requires no cutting of the NSX wire harness. I have purchased a large quantity of the OEM Acura/Honda connectors, so future SmarTenna's will be shipped with these connectors that will plug directly into the NSX's wire harness. The new connectors will take about 8 weeks to arrive, so please be patient if you have recently ordered a SmarTenna.
For those not familiar with the SmarTenna, it is a gadget that automatically lowers the NSX's power antenna when the CD player is active. This helps prevent antenna mast damage during high speed driving, interference with low hanging tree branches, and of course looks much better when cruising. Invented in 1997, it has been installed on more than 350 NSX's, from model years 1991 through 2000. It is available through Dali Racing and RM Racing.
