Initial d 5th stage announced today 8/6!

Hey guys,

So to coincide with Initial D's main car the AE86 they announced today 8/6/12 that initial D 5th stage will be airing this year. Starting November 9 they will air episode 1 + 2, December will be episodes 3 + 4, January will be episodes 5+ 6, ect until the end of the 5th stage.

I know some of you guys are initial D fans so I just thought I'd share with you guys.

This is good news. My wife and I watched the first 4 stages on Netflix, and were totally bummed when we ran out of episodes.

Hopefully the DVDs come out soonish too.

I know man it's been 6 years since 4th stage finished. I probably seen Stage 1 - 4 like 4 times already lol. Now I have something to look forward to during the fall/winter of this year :D.
 
They are going to have the race with the FD vs the NSX.

Initial D 5th Stage aired a couple hours ago. Someone has already uploaded the opening of 5th stage. Some NSX footage in there :D. The car animations look really good this time around.

Initial D

Fifth Stage of Initial D has been airing in Japan. They have most of the episodes up and subbed in english for those that are interested.

I believe episode 12 - 14 is the race against the NSX for those that just want to see that part.

Just so everyone is aware Initial D 5th Stage is now done. No more episodes are coming out for it, only 14 episodes this season, ending with the RX-7 vs NSX race. Seems like 6th stage is going to happen in the future but not much info besides that.
 
They are still writing the race between Takumi & Shinji. So I forsee a short movie like 3rd stage.
