Is this a Bose amp problem?

91 car, just the pass speaker. Makes a consistent repeating noise
that kinda sounds like a woodpecker (fast knock knock knock) sound. Same for radio or CD, only on the pass side when I move the fader all the way left, that channel is fine.

Does this sound like a bad amp, or another issue?
